To provide planning support to expand and evaluate Student U. The organisation provides 150 students in grades 6 to 8 with a six-week, summer intensive academic enrichment programme. Students engage in mentoring, tutoring, and leadership development throughout the academic year. Low achieving North Carolina students, many of whom have learning differences, are targeted. Local college-aged students serve as teachers, role-models and advocates.
