Helena Duch joined Oak Foundation as Programme Officer in the Child Abuse Programme in 2017. Helena is responsible for the programme's work to generate and move evidence to action around the prevention and response to violence against children. She will also develop a new portfolio to support social movements.
Prior to joining Oak, Helena was an Assistant Professor at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University where her research and teaching focused on the design and evaluation of preventative interventions to reduce developmental disparities in early childhood.
Helena holds a Master's degree in Biostatistcs and Developmental Psychology from Columbia University and a Doctoral degree in child psychology from New York University.
