This project targets people residing in the rural area of Bindura and seeks to facilitate the formation of HOPE clubs and income-generating projects. Kubatana Vocational Training Centre
To provide quality care to 1,500 people living with HIV/AIDS through the provision of food and drugs and by strengthening the capacity of the community through relevant education. The project also seeks to help 1,200 orphans and vulnerable children through the provision of basic education and also by equipping 60 out-of school youths with the technical skills they need to work in agriculture and trades such as carpentry and dress-making. To improve the quality of life of 700 people in Budiriro, Dzivarasekwa and Kuwadzana who are impoverished, infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. The project seeks to strengthen and support the capacity of families and communities to provide psycho-social, medical and material support to the terminally ill. The Salvation Army – Masiye Camp
To support two life skills camps for 100 orphaned children affected by HIV/AIDS and provide training for 40 volunteers in psycho-social support. The project will provide a pool of volunteers equipped to assist with running the training programmes at the camp. A core group of volunteers will be trained and mentored through workshops and sensitised to children’s issues through exposure to a variety of children’s programmes. USD 22,463
