Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy
To create the European Network on Public Finance for Sustainable Energy – SEFNet – that will leverage private investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency initiatives. The project aims to create a platform of organisations that can address the reasons why private finance is currently not adequate in making clean energy technologies commercially viable. Carbon Disclosure Project
To extend the Carbon Disclosure Project and its approach to reduce carbon emissions by engaging investors and companies in Switzerland, Italy, Belgium and Sweden. By using energy consumption costs as a driver to have companies reduce energy consumption, the organisation hopes to have large corporations take action to tackle climate change. (Over two years)

Pacific Environment
To build and launch an Alternative Energy Technology Centre in the Chemal District of the Republic of Altai. Principal activities include the dissemination of information on alternative and renewable energy technologies; continued construction of the Alternative Energy Center and the promotion of alternative technologies policy and legislation.

World Wide Fund for Nature
• To improve the effectiveness of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme so that it triggers sustained CO2 emission reductions in industry and gives incentives for investment in low carbon technologies. (Over three years)
• To support use of higher levels of communication to stimulate the media and set up powerful alliances to raise the Issue of the Emissions Trading System in Berlin/Brussels and the target countries of Italy, Poland, Spain and UK. (Over three years)

WWF Schweiz
To identify the most energy-efficient electrical and electronic consumer products in Europe. Products will be presented on a web-site with a goal to define standards for policy design, disseminate information, provide approriate labels and specifications for all buyers groups including multinational buyers. (Over three years)
