GRANTS IN OTHER COUNTRIES

• Center for Child & Family Health

  To develop a new paradigm in child advocacy centre models in the U.S. that incorporates early detection of abuse and trauma of children and provides better approaches to evaluation. (Over two years)

• Defensa de Ninas y Ninos Internacional

  To advance recognition of the rights of children to respect, dignity and to a life free of interpersonal and social violence in Bolivia; and to support their work against sexual violence; and encourage children to exert their civil rights. (Over three years)

• Fund for Social Change

  To reduce the over-referral to foster care of children deemed at risk in the Highbridge community in the Bronx, New York, and instead to provide a range of services to families in need, including family support, parent training, and legal representation. (Over three years)

• Nanban

  To improved the quality of life of vulnerable children in India through strengthened community structures and to develop integrated programmes to address child abuse and exploitation. Activities will include improving the socio-economic conditions of marginalised communities; protecting the interests and rights of vulnerable and orphaned children; and establishing and strengthening linkages with mainstream institutions for sustainable long-term benefits. (Over three years)
