Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion
To support students who are attending the college campus in Boston’s South End community that was created by Inquilinos Boricuas en Accion in partnership with Bunker Hill Community College.

Little Sisters of the Assumption Family Health Services, Inc.
To support Project Hope, a Boston neighbourhood-based resource with a family shelter at its core. The project will develop a model for family homelessness prevention that integrates employment and housing services. It will also bring about the organisational change necessary for successful service expansion. (Over three years)

St Giles Trust
To support the provision of work placements for advisors who have been trained by the trust once they leave prison. The grant also funds an employment broker to support advisors in the transition to permanent employment. (Over three years)

To expand the Ex-offender Employment Programme by establishing a training unit within the Suffolk County House of Correction to provide pre-release training. (Second year of two-year grant)

To support a pilot project to reduce social and structural barriers faced by young people living in hostels when accessing and sustaining employment. (Third year of three-year grant)

DePaul Trust
To support the Drive Ahead project, a six-week course providing pre-employment and life skills for young people which offers driving lessons as an incentive to sustain attendance. (Third year of three-year grant)

To provide support for the expansion of HOPE’s work-readiness programme. (Second year of three-year grant)

Local Employment Access Projects (LEAP)
To fund LEAP’s efforts to replicate a successful initiative to help unemployed people into work across the United Kingdom and to see the model adapted to serve different target groups. (Second year of five-year grant)
People and Work Unit
To pilot a programme for personal development and training support that will enable 32 young adults, most of whom will be parents, to progress from unemployment to a professional career in healthcare. (Third year of four-year grant)
